Mark Marusin – Drummer/Vocals
Mark has been playing the drums for over 38 years. His playing style is heavily rooted in rock with skills in blues and jazz. His precision beats come from his early days of teaching percussion in conjunction with a relentless drive at perfection.
Mark’s musical influences include Buddy Rich, Buddy Miles, JoJo Mayer, and John Bonham. Mark’s skills have been honed in recent years by mentors including Kofi Baker (Son of legendary Cream drummer: Ginger Baker). Kofi’s instruction has brought new and enlightened techniques to Mark’s drumming, providing highly advanced skill and unique technical delivery.
Although Mark has played every genre of music including orchestra, jazz, country, heavy metal, and rock. He prefers the stylistic rhythms of R & B. He also enjoys laying down the beats needed to drive The King Stan Band.
